Bolton Information and advisory service SEND, is a statutory service for all young people with additional needs. This means, in law, if you have special educational needs and/or a disability, you have a right to access our help.
Anything you discuss with us is confidential. We will need your permission to talk to other people about your concerns. However, if we feel you are at risk, or anyone else may be at risk, we have a duty to pass this information on to the right people straight away.
We have been around for a very long time! We wanted to make sure that you had an opportunity to get help and support independently.
We can give information to you about things like;
What we cant do;
We don't give information and advice on things like benefits and housing, but we can put you in touch with people who can help with these things. We also don't run any clubs or activities for young people, but again, we can help you find things to do if thats what you are looking for.
