Bolton IAS sit on the BPCC steering group. We work co-productively with parent carers, and are actively engaged at a strategic level with Boltons Parent Carer forum.
The Council for disabled children is an overarching organisation that oversee lots of different government initiatives that help shape the future for children with a disability. Amongst other things, they provide the IAS network and the Independent Supporter programme. They have lots of useful information about their different projects and support online.
IPSEA not only provide IAS staff with their legal training, they offer a wealth of information to parent carers and young people too.
CONTACT provide a whole host of information and advice on rights for parent carers, and benefits, as well as on specific conditions and disabilities.
